Dynamic Health’s Holiday Eggnog:
2 cups almond milk, 3 egg whites, 1/3 cup honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 teaspoon of Dynamic Health’s Organic Apple Cider or Coconut Vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
The first step to making Dynamic’s Holiday eggnog is setting the stovetop to medium heat. Place the almond milk, egg whites, honey, vanilla, organic Dynamic Health apple cider vinegar, nutmeg, and cinnamon into a mixing bowl. Blend the mixture with a hand beater for 2-3 minutes. Pour the blended mixture into a pot and place it on the stovetop for 15 minutes on low heat. Simmer the mixture on the stovetop; do not let it boil. The purpose is to cook the egg whites. Whisk the mixture constantly to keep it a silky texture. Remove the pot from the stovetop and let it cool for 20 minutes. Once cool, cover the pot and place it in the fridge to chill overnight. Upon removal from the fridge, the eggnog will become very thick. Blend it with a whisk to lighten the consistency. To do so, mix in a splash of almond milk to Dynamic’s Holiday Eggnog until the consistency is to your liking. Pour the eggnog into individual cups, garnish with cinnamon, serve and enjoy the holiday season!
